Because we have something you can’t buy from Europe: simplicity. One might even call our compressor assembly designs ”retro,” except they are made from all-modern, European parts. I took refrigeration mechanics in the Merchant Marine forty years ago and can tell you for sure that any decent refrigeration Tech can service these units with their eyes closed. Our cases are Italian in style but the compressor assemblies are extremely basic. They are made with all-generic parts, which can be found in any large city. You won’t have to call Milan to get them. Euro Classic

The Euro (made in China from European design) is our least expensive display case but that does not mean it is cheap in quality. It does not have front-opening glass and that greatly reduces its price. All operate on 220V. The front and side glass is 7 mm, very thick and smart-looking. Like all of our display freezers the compressors, expansion valves and electronic controllers are either American or European. The case is particularly well drafted, meaning that cold air is circulated efficiently, reducing power consumption.

The Roma

These gorgeous, reliable, self-defrosting freezers are Italian-designed. The compressor assembly is simple and straightforward.. Both units have tempered opening glass fronts which swing open or lift out easily for cleaning, 60 mm of insulation, two evaporators and aluminum draw-down rear doors. There are back-lit flavor label holders easily accessed from the front. The cases are the same except for style. They come in many colors. All refrigerate to -18° C. (0°F.). Both have easy-to-see tilted tub display. The cost is about 30-40% less than similar Italian cases depending on import taxes.

The Milano Series

Our new line of first-rate Chinese display cases can’t be beat for a combination of quality, looks and reasonable price. In terms of quality it is a step up from almost everything else in China. They are made in China by Italians who are always on site and have a long history of quality workmanship. The Milano Series comes as either display freezers or cake display cases and there is a 45º curved case to create islands. The two types are identical in size, so you can mix and match them for a variety of needs.

All of the Milano series are top-opening (as shown), making them easy and safe to clean. They have 18 mm heated vacuum glass front and sides, and use environmentally safe R404. All have back-lighted front panels that can be easily replaced with acrylic to show your company logo.

Made with European components, this case is inexpensive only because labor is so much cheaper in China, not because we use cheap parts.

The Gladiator

These very inexpensive, very light and portable, no-nonsense cases are classified as “static” freezers, meaning that they have cold walls but no blowers or other mechanics. You turn them on, they run. There is no defrost cycle. They are really self-serve chest freezers like you see in convenience stores except the top has been modified to indicate that the customer will be served. The curved glass makes the unit look nice. The cost of the curved glass is a pass-thru to you at our cost. They are light weight, roll easily and are inexpensive.

We have refrained from offering expensive cases in the past because they have been too expensive for all but a few Asian customers. But when we saw the Vienna cases at the 2008 gelato show in Italy we were extremely impressed. And why not?

The Vienna has many fine features but the one which caught our eye was the set of double evaporators, covered with a Teflon-like coating to prevent ice buildup and make defrosting more efficient. In hot countries this has ALWAYS been the main problem of display freezers. And the heated glass prevents condensation in humid conditions.
