The 6x6 meter gelato factory (above) was designed by us. It can make about 450L of ice cream in 8 hours, enough to service 5-6 kiosks or 2-3 gelato bars. We have designed many small factories and can help you plan an efficient operation.
Some of our manufacturing franchises sell most of their products to hotels, restaurants and shops, but establishing kiosks is also important. They help develop brand recognition and are the springboard for others interested in franchising. Nothing gets you in the door faster than an introduction letter which states, “We have ten kiosks and two gelato bars in the area.” A kiosk of about 9 Sq. meters includes a display freezer, cash counter and register, waffle cone maker, top opening freezer, work counter.
Making wonderful ice cream is an artisan love affair but as is true for any business, it takes good business skills, an understanding of your market and advertising savvy to make money.
