Our no-fee franchise is very attractive and has many advantages. You get a proprietary monthly newsletter with a lot of tips about marketing and making product flavors we do not list to the public. These newsletters help you develop your own products and ingredients, increasing your sales, lowering your cost. This is important as a way of keeping ahead of the competition. You get lifetime technical support, use of our ad materials, logos, photographs and special promotion files. Most of all, you get our brand name to use in your shop and on our products.

We protect the brand . “The Brand” is our baby and the only way we benefit from it is if you benefit. Food brands require uniformity of taste and look from country to country. I am a Burger King guy. My Whopper with cheese no mayo, is EXACTLY the same as it was 40 years ago when I ate my first one. The relationship of the onion and tomato, the tomato and the lettuce-EVERYTHING IN THAT BURGER is the same.

I have had a Whopper approximately twice per month for 40 years. That is what branding is all about−a forty year customer! In addition, a brand must create the image of inflexible cleanliness. The very last thing I think about when I eat my Whopper with cheese, no matter where I am in the world, is that maybe I will get sick. Unthinkable. Impossible. Therefore we demand high standards of quality and sanitation from our franchisees. Dream Cones kiosk must look “high class” and display of our logo.

If our franchise is free, how do we make our money? We make money by selling ingredients. Since you pay nothing for the franchise the only way we will keep you as a customer is to make you happy with our product, which we intend to do.

FIRST BATCH: This is a “first batch” by a customer who set up a gelato restaurant using our supplies. By the time we left four days later her staff was trained and she had 21-flavors in her freezer, ready to sell. You can do this!

 

Why Use us?

Of course the first question anyone asks is: WHY USE US? Answer− good prices−good quality!

Our machinery is 75% cheaper than Italian machines, but the quality is excellent.  We use them exclusively in our Bangkok factory where we produce about 1.5 tons of gelato per day and in all of our franchise factories all over Asia.

Our machines are simply built but rugged. Any good refrigeration tech can service them. Most parts are easily found in any large city and those that aren’t are provided in the service pack. Normal maintenance and trouble shooting is covered in the training program.

Regarding our ingredients, we use imported Italian flavors and aromas, New Zealand milk, real fruit imported from America, New Zealand, China, Australia and Europe. There is nothing cheap about our ingredients except that labor here in Thailand is so much cheaper than in Italy. We pass those savings on to you.

Our company is oriented to get the small operator or pilot project into operation, by providing the machines, helping design the layout, training the staff and supplying the ingredients.  We can fly to your factory and help start it up. We are very supportive of our customers and provide lifetime technical support.

Almost 100% of our franchisees have never owned their own business. I am continually humbled by their courage and determination to have a better life.

Making GelatoBeing a franchisee has many advantages. You can buy or build our distinctive kiosk, buy our company supplies and receive our many advertisements at a low price or for free as a downloadable file. If you want to build a shop we will help you design it. As our franchise network develops, name recognition will benefit you. Franchisees always receive best price plus lifetime technical support.

As is true for our retail franchisees, there is no franchise fee or commission for a franchise. IT'S FREE! But there are some terms and conditions for using our name. Download our.pdf file for information.

We give a half day consult by me and our top people for €100. We then offer a 4-day course at our Bangkok factory. You train on the machines you will use. We arrange delivery of all equipment and visit your location to set it up and get you going. Using our pre-formulated products making gelato is easy. When you finish the manufacturing course you will be ready to start making ice cream. if you franchise, you will receive an additional 3-day professional baking course for free. This course is purely for your benefit. We do not sell baking ingredients, which you can buy locally. This course is just to help you diversify into baking products, which sell well at our kiosks.

However, training people to make ice cream is labor intensive, so you will have to agree to buy our products for two years. That is not hard. Our products are inexpensive and delicious! There is a training fee but you get your money's worth!
