Our Italian-style ice cream (gelato) is very different from commercial ice cream. It contains 30% less sugar and about 1/3 the fat ,and 1/6  less cholesterol than most premium brands, The low fat allows our wonderful, natural  flavors to dominate. 
 
A characteristic of gelato is that it is much more creamy than commercial ice cream, even though it has less fat. It is so creamy because we use lots of expensive New Zealand milk solids and much less trapped air than is found in commercial ice cream. 

 
 

Our flavors are made from all-natural ingredients and real fruit. The fruit is NEVER boiled. It is warmed at low temperature so that its full flavor and food value is not lost. Our products are “real food,” not “junk food.”  They are full of vitamins and minerals. 

Sorbet is an Italian ice made with large quantities of fruit, fruit juice and natural fruit fibers. It is sweetened mainly with fruit sugar, is not as sweet as gelato and is very refreshing. Sherbets are similar to sorbets but contain about 2% vegetable fat, which makes them less tart and more creamy.

 

Our sugar free gelato is identical in taste to regular our regular gelato but contains about 40% less calories.
